Stripers and White Perch Aplenty

Today offered up another fantastic fishing day on St. Leonard Creek.

We only had a couple of hours to fish so we set some trolling lines as we left the dock.

Water temps were hovering in the low to mid 80's and the clarity was surprisingly good.

We were able to troll up a few stripers on both yellow and white shad bodies on 3/8 oz jig heads.

The fish were holding tight to bottom structure in water that was 10 feet jumping up quickly to less than 4 feet.

After a few fish it was time to head to the shady banks and cast some Perch Pounders for some white perch.

The WP are getting bigger by the day and the fun is really starting to turn on strong with these fish.

We both lost count of the numbers of fish we caught.

It was time to head back to the dock and we trolled back over the same spots that produced before and each picked up a fish.

A solid two-hours of fun in the overcast morning.
